Practical ideas published to enable churches to be eco-friendly

The latest set of Training Notes published over the past weekend provides churches with 58 straightforward ideas to help them reduce their carbon footprint. These are listed and explained under nine headings including 'Church buildings', 'The office', 'The kitchen', 'The grounds'.

The idea is to enable churches to take practical actions that can make a difference, not just produce policies and set ideals that may not work out in practice.
The notes start with a short biblical summary of why churches should be taking this topic very seriously.
