It provides discussion material on what makes a group a team and lists a range of misconceptions as to what team leadership is all about.
The main part of the Article offers eight recommendations for leaders ranging from the need to hold everyone to the team's task and vision through to making team meetings special. These are based on the four key needs for any gathering of people to be a team and then three of the best known pieces of team analysis.
