Get people talking about time off work

A new set of Training Notes, uploaded to this site today, seeks to get Ministers and lay leaders discussing their different perspectives on what it means to 'work' and 'rest'.

For Ministers issues include the 'day off' and problems in getting a proper break when you work from home. For members of the congregation, time 'off' has to include church attendance and work. Members of church staffs meet each other on Sunday in their workplace even if that is supposed to be a day off.
The notes suggest key principles, examine the meanings of 'work' and 'rest' and then set up various issues. There are questions to discuss throughout.
This is a topic rarely discussed in this way - a position that could change with the use of these notes.
